This week saw us getting tons of site visits and audience feedback, and we appreciate every single bit of it.Both myself and Chaelura did a bit of cussing this week, which is usually reserved for Galvion, and he did not do too much of it at all…… Star Wars: The Old Republic released patch 1.2,Mass Effect 3 released the “Resurgence Pack” and Capcom is soon to be releasing a $1300 jacket. We had a blast this week, talked about the news, answered a few questions for the Audience, and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it for you.

Audience Feedback [47:53]

Hey LGD crew!

Since 2012 is the year of the HD remake, which video game close to your heart would like to see remade? Also, if you could revive a dead video game franchise, which one would you choose? I, for one, dream of a sequel to the Soul Reaver series. I love me some Shakespearean vampires and time travel shenanigans.

Cheers!

Hello BloodEagle and the LDG gang.

First time listener ..long time caller here. I appreciated your Consumerist Golden Poo coverage. I have been a long time participant at consumerist (from before they got bought by Consumer Reports). I voted for Bank of America and was shocked EA won the Golden Poo this year. It shows the overlap and the widespread amount of gamers that are out there. I have never bought an EA game so I was sort of blithely unaware of their evil dealings. With the Golden Poo EA can join the pantheon of companies that are loathed for their anti-consumer practices and yet are hard to avoid doing business with like Bank of America, Comcast, BP and others. My question is how does EA compare to other major game makers in their business practices and how they treat consumers?

I enjoyed the podcast and am looking forward to listening to more.

Jeff

Just listened to the new episode! Sounded great, I just wanted to add a comment about the TSW packs. It has been established that the packs will be available all the way through launch, though no cutoff date has been revealed. So, the packs are still somewhat of a gamble, depending on the success of the game, but everyone will in fact get a chance to play before they HAVE to
decide whether or not to drop money on a Pack.
